FM & Construction Flexible Procurement & Commercial Standardisation Workshop – Tuesday 24th January 2023 (10:00am – 16:00pm) – Venue: DLA Piper LLP Offices – 160 Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HT

The purpose of this Workshop will be to:

• Enable a tripartite discussion (Fire Sector / Construction Market / Public Buying Organisations) on how construction procurement can become more flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing market conditions;
• How the Construction and Sourcing Playbooks can be applied when procuring construction contracts; and
• Have a meaningful early engagement on construction commercial terms with the view of achieving a level of standardisation and prior agreement with Public Buying Organisations and the market, with the view of achieving cost efficiencies (please note that early engagement and a level of standardisation were identified by the market as the two key components in securing savings).

The outcome of the workshop will be standardisation of commercial practices across the Fire Sector and adoption of such agreed practices by Public Buying Organisations in future Construction Frameworks.
